So I discussed buying the RS 140 headphones with my wife, and she liked the idea. She actually knows alot more about headphones than I do, as she has owned several pairs in the past. She really liked the idea of a "closed back" headphone, so the Sennheiser RS 140fit the bill perfectly!

She has had problems with poor hearing in one of her ears, so she has stayed away from most headphones in recent time. While she liked the RS 140 headphones, she still felt like we should shop around some, before we made our decision.

She records quite a bit of music, so she said that she would like to look at "DJ style" headphones. "D J style" headphones completely engulf the ear, and block out ambient sounds completely.

So we looked at Sony models, the MDR-V700, and the MDR V900. They are popular "DJ Style" headphones that we found online. We liked them just fine, however they are not wireless. We loved the idea of being able to wear the RS 140 wireless headphones as we walk around our house!

But the clincher that tipped the scales in favor of buying the RS 140 model, was that the headphones had separate volume controls for each ear. That feature alone was a perfect fit for my wife's condition. She could now listen to t.v. etc., at a volume that was perfect for her.

You see, in the past, my wife would have to crank up the volume on the t.v., in order to listen comfortably. Of course, I don't have a hearing problem, so often times the volume was blowing me out of the room!

Well, we have had our Sennheiser RS 140 phones for about a month now, and we could not be happier! The sound that comes through them is clear, crisp and precise. I can walk around my house with them on, and not get any popping or hissing.

Charging them could not be easier. I simply place them in their cradle overnight, and by the next morning, I am good to go for the following day. As far as comfort is concerned, I can wear the RS 140 for hours at a time, and never sweat or experience discomfort.

The Sennheiser RS 140 have really changed the way we listen to, and enjoy music!
